Finding Memorial High School
MAS meets at Vel Phillips Memorial High School on Madison’s west side.

The school is directly northeast of West Towne Mall.
MAS meetings at Memorial HS may occasionally utilize the Planetarium, but will most often meet in a classroom called Theater 300. Directions to both can be found below.
From the Beltline Highway (Hwys 12 & 14):
Take Highway 12/14 (the Beltline) to the Gammon Road exit, and exit onto Gammon Road (exit 255) heading north toward West Towne Mall. Drive 0.7 miles. After you cross Mineral Point, the very next right turn will take you directly into Memorial’s main parking lot.
Parking:
Park anywhere in the large lot on the Mineral Point Rd side of the building and enter at the Welcome Center (silver awning with solar panels).
Proceed straight ahead about 250 feet, through the lobby and atrium. The planetarium is to your left as you enter the cafeteria area beyond the atrium. Theater 300 is through the cafeteria and to the right.

MAS Has a New Home
Exterior shot of Memorial High School. For the first time in nearly 30 years, MAS has a new home for its monthly meetings.
Starting in June 2026, MAS meetings will be held at Vel Phillips Memorial High School on Madison’s west side.
